Introduction to High-Speed I/Os in PolarFire^® FPGAs

This one-day training course builds on the concepts that are presented in the Introduction to PolarFire^® FPGAs training class. This class focuses on using the PolarFire FPGA’s I/Os to implement high-speed serial interfaces and source-synchronous designs. Hands-on lab exercises using the PolarFire FPGA Evaluation Kit will demonstrate the concepts covered in this class

This class is taught virtually using WebEx^®

• Develop an understanding of the I/O features of PolarFire FPGAs that support serial interfaces
• Learn how to use the I/O configurators to implement source-synchronous interfaces

• Completion of Introduction to Libero^® SoC Design Suite course
• Completion of Introduction to PolarFire FPGAs course 
• Familiarity with source-synchronous designs

• The latest version of Libero SoC Design Suite installed with the working license file (Silver license  or paid license)
• PolarFire Evaluation Kit; see FPGA Kits and Hardware for more information

If you do not have the kit, you can still create the design and run the simulations, but you will not be able to program and debug your design.
